Bissell 1719B SpotLifter 2X Portable Deep Cleaner Carpet Cleaner

Very nice toddler accessory
This little cleaner is easy to use, and so far works very well. I got some old juice stains and a cat barf stain out of the carpet right away. The detergent tank is eay to load and the dirty water tank is easy to empty.

I only have one minor gripe- I'm not sure it makes sense for this product to be cordless. I was worried at first that its 15 minute runtime with a 12 hour charge would be annoying. It really isn't, it doesn't take but a minute to remove a spot, and you aren't going to use this to clean a whole carpet. However, the manual recommends running the battery completely down before recharging, which means that either it's going to conk out on you when you're using it or that you have to just leave it on to run down when the battery is low. Not a big deal, but is that really more convenient than just using a cord?
Hand-held deep carpet cleaner for emergency spills and stains from Bissell
Cleaner brush agitates soiled spots while simultaneously sucking debris up and through the 7-inch nozzle; adept at odor-removal
Cordless, the 9.6v cleaner runs at full power for 15 minutes; charge for 24 hours before first use and 12 hours following subsequent uses
With a dual tank system, users easily fill one with clean water and solution while dirty water collects in the other for appropriate disposal
Cleaner measures 17-3/4 by 7 by 10 inches and weighs 6 pounds

Eureka 4700B Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuum

Motor burned up after just over a year
The Eureka Maxima Bagless worked fine... for about a year. The only downside is that it did not do a great job on bare floors, tended to blow light dust and dust bunnies away from it. Emptying the receptacle was pretty easy and I never had to replace the filter. Just kept cleaning it, which worked fine.

However... and that's why I gave this vacuum a poor rating, the motor just quit after just over a year. I took it to a repair shop and the repair cost would have been more than I paid for the vacuum. My previous vacuum was an old Hoover that I owned for nearly 20 years, without any problems. Not saying Hoover is better than Eureka, just that a motor should not burn up after just a year of use, and not that heavy a use at that.

I would not buy another one, though it's going to be tough to find one that does not have similar stories. Seems like most vacuums have problems these days.

Get the maximum clean with this Eureka 4700A Maxima Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner. It comes equipped with 12 amps of power for deep cleaning, a lightweight design for quick and easy pick-ups, a 2.2 quart dust cup for constant cleaning power, a micro-filtration system designed to reduce allergens and pet dander and a no-tip design. With additional features like the extra long crevice tool and extra wide integrated hose, you'll be able to tackle all your hard to reach areas at floor level and above.

Lightweight but solidly constructed bagless vacuum offers powerful suction and excellent maneuverability
Micro-filtration captures dust mites, pollen, and other allergens for cleaner indoor air
Powerful 12-amp motor; easy-empty 2-1/5-quart dust cup; no-tip design
Includes crevice tool, dusting brush, extra-long extension wand, and large-diameter no-clog hose
Measures 12 by 12-3/4 by 42-1/2 inches; weighs 14 pounds

Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vacuum

Wow!!!
The quality of this handheld is evident upon opening the package, I was impressed at the quality of construction and fit and finish.

Upon use I found the suction to be incredible, especially neat was the adjustable access for different angles of use and the emptying and servicing to be straight forward and easy.

I highly recommend this to a potential purchaser, for the price you can't go wrong.

Great vacuum!
I bought this vacuum to simplify cleaning my carpeted stairs and was amazed at the dust it picked up on both my stairs and upholstered sofas. My previous dirt devil was unbelievably loud and apparently only picked up dog hair and anything visible on the surface. I also use this in my car. It's very light, not too loud, and has strong suction. A great buy!

Hand-held but very powerful, this Eureka model eliminates the hassle of lugging around a full-size vacuum for cleaning car upholstery, sofas, and carpeted stairs. A long 20-foot cord (which wraps for storage) provides good reach, as does the deluxe hose that stretches to three times its length. With the crevice tool on the end of the hose, this vacuum reaches into all kinds of tight places. And, with two motors, one to power the revolving brush and one for suction, the 5.5 amp vacuum cleans deeply.

One of Eureka's innovations is the Riser Visor, a clear plastic cover that stays down for cleaning horizontal surfaces and flips up so the revolving brush can reach the vertical carpet on stair risers. There's no bag to change, just a filter and clear plastic dust cup to shake out when necessary. --Ann Bieri
